Men’s Soccer

Coming off another season competing for an MVC title — led by MVC Player of the Year Edouard Nys — Flames Men’s Soccer remains one of the premier programs in Chicago and the Midwest.

Nys was drafted in the 2^nd round of the MLS Superdraft in December.

Scholarship support is the program’s greatest need. Until July 2025, NCAA rules limited men’s soccer to 9.9 scholarships. With increased scholarship capacity, UIC can now build — and retain — a stronger roster capable of making College Cup runs.
