The UIC Asian American Resource and Cultural Center (AARCC) opened its doors in April 2005. For nearly 20 years, AARCC has engaged UIC students, faculty, staff and the Chicagoland community using an Asian American lens through programs, services, partnerships, and curricula. This academic year, AARCC kicks off the "Race to 20" fundraiser to commemorate their time at UIC and to raise funds to assist with their programs and services.
AARCC's 20th Anniversary Celebration will occur on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in room 301 of the Student Center East, located at 750 S. Halsted. The UIC community is invited, including alumni and Chicago partners, to attend this celebration. RSVP will open in January 2025 at go.uic.edu/20.
